We will only send marketing communications where you have opted in, signed up to receive updates from Sukindi, or where otherwise permitted by law.

We may still send non-marketing service messages, such as purchase confirmations, invoices, download links, password emails, subscription notices, account messages and important service updates.
10. Children and young people
Sukindi may be used by children under 18, often under the supervision of a parent, guardian, teacher, school or organisation.
Capacity to consent is assessed on a case-by-case basis. As a general rule, a person under 18 may consent if they have sufficient maturity to understand what is proposed. Guidance from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner notes a presumption that an individual under 15 may not have capacity to consent unless there is something to suggest otherwise, and that individuals aged 15 or over may generally be presumed to have capacity where a case-by-case assessment is not practicable.
Parent, guardian and school consent
Where a parent or guardian creates and manages a child’s account, we rely on the parent or guardian to provide consent and manage settings.
Where a school provisions accounts or manages student access, we rely on the school to obtain appropriate consents and provide notices to families.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address the issue.
11. How we keep personal information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Security measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, secure credential handling, restricted account permissions, monitoring, trusted service providers and reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards.
No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account login details safe and for contacting us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
12. Data retention and deletion
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide Sukindi, manage accounts, provide access to purchased resources, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce agreements.
For Sukindi Store purchases, we may retain purchase, invoice, download and account records for as long as reasonably needed to provide access to purchased resources, support re-downloads, manage updates and comply with record-keeping obligations.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.
13. Accessing and correcting your personal information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and request corrections if you believe it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.
We may need to verify your identity before responding. In some cases, we may refuse access or correction where permitted by law. If we refuse, we will explain why where reasonable and lawful to do so.

If you have a complaint about how we handle personal information:
Contact us at hello@sukindi.com.au and describe your complaint.
We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We may ask for further information so we can properly investigate the issue.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
15. Notifiable Data Breaches
If we experience a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm and we are required to do so under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.
